Have you ever had someone do a portrait of you? How about as a couple? Or with the whole family? For me, I have to say, yes, yes, and yes!
I've learned that I've got to be chilled out and having fun when I'm having a portrait made. If not, then you can bet that it's gonna show when I look at that picture months and years down the line. The last thing that's going to help a portrait is to have a stuffy smile that's unnatural or over-posed. Or having a look about you that says, "What did my kid just spill on his shirt..." When you get down to what makes a photo great, it's about reality. And that's what I'm in search of when I photograph people.
I want to help you create a portrait, that when you look back on it years later, you're able to say, "Yep, that's really us." And "I remember what a great time that was." If I can help you say that, then we've done pretty good.
Part of accomplishing that is choosing a time and location that is suitable to how you want your images to look, and the other part is me helping you to chill out and have fun. I don't know about you, but if you think of a traditional studio where there's more equipment around you than an operating room, I find that a hard place to just be myself. Most of my clients feel the same way, so I do away with all that and take you to a beautiful outdoor location where you can relax and just be yourself while I create the most amazing portrait you can imagine, all while having fun!
Your family is the most important thing in the world to you, right? Mine is to me! Check out those smiles right there! So I know you want photos that you'll treasure and hold close to your heart for the rest of your life, whatever your occasion.
I shoot families, couples, high school seniors, head shots, and engagements and weddings. Contact me if you'd like to get on my schedule for a photo shoot by calling or emailing me below.
